DIY Steampunk Accordion Thrift Store Mod for LARP

Save Save

Watch me turn a toy accordion that I found for $9 at a thrift store into a steampunk copper bellow accordion with a wood grain. I will go into the details of how to do a faux wood grain on plastic and how to do a faux patina painting technique to get an aged copper look.

Special thanks to Rob Steinhofer from https://www.facebook.com/accordionrepairman/ for answering my questions and concerns about this toy accordion.
