Plain, FULL SIZED handmade top hat for you to trim or decorate yourself. My new line of plain hats without decorations, are handmade to my usual excellent standards, covered in a stunning range of fabrics & fully lined. The only difference to my full priced hats are these hats come without any decorations, to enable you to finish the hat to your own style & taste. For many, Steampunk & costuming is all about having a go yourself, so these plain hats give you a top quality, handmade hat as a perfect base for your own creativity! Maybe just add a scarf, a belt or a pair of goggles, or be more creative & add a multitude of decorations! If you're looking for a specific colour, or would like a hat to match an outfit you have made, please message me as I offer a custom service FREE OF CHARGE on this range of hats! Every one of my full size hats are made to order to ensure the perfect fit. I prefer to make your hat to measure (the circumference taken half an inch above your ears), but if you're buying for someone else, I do offer standard sizes of small, medium or large (22, 23 or 24 inches respectively). I also include padding strips with every order for the perfect fit! GENUINE QUALITY Based on authentic historical techniques, I've developed my own processes, using a mix of sewing & gluing, to produce lightweight but sturdy hats. There's no cardboard or plastic in my hats, I only use genuine milliners buckram! Regardless of size, all my hats have an open crown, are fully lined & have a curved brim with a sewn edge. My full-size hats also have a mouldable, wire brim. My fabulous range of fabrics are iron pressed into place to prevent unsightly gathering.
